Friday nights at nine-oh-clock PM in or around Oakland a group dubbed the 'Babble Choir' meets to read, write, sing, workshop, share and partake, etc and soforth.

The group was formed for poetry, but is now open to all artists and appreciators, of all mediums, ages, and ideologies. The only thing we ask is a positive, open-minded attitude.

This community is not only for that Event, but also for the poeticpoatikpotekal community and such of the like of them all welcome here who are in the 'burgh of pitts.

The name is what it means, this is a community of Pittsburgh Poets, come everyone and all.

Our goal is to make connections between people, and also to give each other input, feedback, and opportunities. Want to workshop a poem at Eat'n Park? Post it here. Want people to work with on a new project? Ask around. Want to feel inspired, or see what others are creating? Come hang out.

The Pittsburgh Poetry Exchange is another wonderful "community resource for Poets in Pittsburgh"

We hope to have everyone post dates and times and locations of poetry readings and similar events, all around Pgh.
